Tarmac Installation (old flower bed)

Hi, would anyone know if cold tarmac would work for filling in a flower bed? The current drive is tarmac and I want to fill in a space about 10ft x 4ft.

Thinking 100mm MOT1 and then cold tarmac on top. Hire a whacker plate to tamp it all down.

Would that work or is cold tarmac lay not right for a bigger area?

That shouldn't be a problem. You can screed the tarmac from the existing to get it nice and level and to follow any existing fall. Ensure you compact the Type 1 in layers.
