I often post about what breakfast I have had, usually showing a picture of it for proof in case anyone calls me a breakfast bragging liar. I find that a little proof on the day it happens, substantiates my claim. JohnD will now claim he had Beluga caviar washed down with a bottle of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Grand Cru 1945 for breakfast 4 years ago.
And he had the good foresight to buy it at a low price, predicting the highs and lows of the fine food market.
Most don't post photos. You don't seem obsessed with calling them out.
Because they tell me what they are having on the day. Not 4 years later when it’s enriched their lives and shown what excellent foresight they had. Now, if super investor JD said today I bought this or that there wouldn’t be any calling out to be done. We can see how that’s done in 1,2,3 or 4 years time. I hardly think him announcing his hot share buys on a DIY forum is going to affect his investment in any way whatsoever - would you rush out and buy the same shares if he announced it? I certainly wouldn’t.
Fine, don't believe him. It doesn't need a witch hunt.
