Hi all.
As some of you may have read an earlier post of mine, I have decided to leave site work, and pursue my private work.
Now for as long as I remember I have been CIS4, and before that SC60/715, labour only. Now if I'm going to trade as a "company" is there anything I have to do regarding tax with the inland revenue, or, as I have always been self employed, do nothing. It will be 2008-2009 tax will be different trading as a "company" as I am more or less starting on the new tax year.
Cheers

Best thing to do is ask/employ an accountant mate.

I'm no expert but you are now a 'sole trader' which is different (for tax purposes) from what you were sc60 etc.

And,BTW get a good accountant the cheaper they are the more likely you will be investigated by the taxman.

I know because I was that soldier,unfortunately.

Ask around for recommendations

Best of luck.
