hi, i have combination cylinder in loft & would like to install a thermostatic shower & separate shower pump. Not sure if either can be fitted to combination cylinder as volume of water in cold feed is not as great as 25 gallon tank. Can anyone advise. Thanks

Well you could fit it but as you realise the cold feed tank will probably run out very soon but all depending in the refill rate.

Also depending on the shower head flow rate.

If you can get a "coffin" style plastic cold water tank in the loft at the right level, yes you can do it.
Failing that, measure the fill rate of the existing header. If it's slow, it might well be worth adding an extra float valve (ballcock) to speed it up.

Your hot water store won't be very big though, so keep the flow rate lowish or it'll run out in a few minutes.
