teeing in to 110mm cast

is there anyway I can do this where the cast is a vertical stack above ground and im coming in with 110mm plastic horizontally.

Yes - use a rubber tee sleeve. Ask at a plumber or builders merchants.

i've never seen these couplings before and they look quite good, but another make you could consider is timesaver, they are similar to these but are made of cast iron and have clamp plates to join to the existing cast and your new plastic

If you want to cut a branch into the vertical pipe, then Timesaver is the best option.
