Teeing off cold water pipe above boiler

Hi I am wanting to tee off the cold water pipe to the boiler it's a boiler were the pipes run up though the back of the boiler, Once tee'd off the cold the pipe will run horizontal over the flue with a gap of about 4inch is this ok?

Can't see any problem with pipe layout.

Is it a combi? Make sure it is a cold feed and not part of heating system.

What is it for?

Is for an outside tap. sink isn't on external wall. So a cold pipe in copper running horizontally across the flue with about 4inhg gap sounds ok?
