Bought a Tefal OptiGrill about 6 months ago and it was faulty (kept defaulting to manual mode) so returned it the same week and and got another one from a different shop.
I have had this 2nd Tefal OptiGrill for about 6 or 7 months and It has been fine up until recently, but recently it has developed the following faults of:
A) Where it will not turn off and all the controls n it lock up - you have to turn it off by the plug. This fault often happens when you open the unit to put food in or once it has heated up.
B) Like the first unit, it will sometimes suddenly switch from the selected cooking program to the manual mode.
Now I send the unit off 2 weeks ago to Tefal for it to be fixed, but it came back with the exact same problems. (When it came back, Tefal said it had been recalibrated, but no parts were replaced as indicated by the paper work what came back with it?)
I have once again sent it off today for it to be fixed again, this time also sending a video demonstrating the fault.
Has anyone else had or is having trouble with the Tefal OptiGrill?
