Tesla sales crash

The showing off is really down to our obsession with knowing what age a car is.

Most number plates give this away, and sales figures have always been based around " the new plate" which was moved to twice yearly to help avoid the mass of sales on Jan 1st. Long before EV's were around
Quite right. I turned down a £500 discount on our new car by refusing a 25 plate and waiting for a 75 plate. Everyone needs to know its brand new!

Is that your dismissal of all EVs?

I had that problem once. I couldn't figure out for the life of me what was wrong with my PC. Then I realised my desk blotter was caught on the top of my keyboard. ;)

Or, of relevance to this thread, this: https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/tesla/model-3

Styling is always going to be a matter of in-the-eye-of-the-beholder personal taste, and I've always thought them bland, but then there have been and are plenty of ICEVs which don't exactly send pulses racing - designers can do something boring irrespective of the mechanicals.

Is the Tesla flawless? Of course not.

Are some of its flaws showstoppers? They could be for some.

But a "milk float"? Come on...

Sorry, but I don't think that classing all EVs as that displays anywhere near enough knowledge of cars in general, let alone EVs, for somebody who wants to critique them, and it's disappointing that people can't point that out.

I would dearly love to see someone read this https://www.topgear.com/car-reviews/rolls-royce/spectre or watch the videos here https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=rolls+royce+spectre , or this

and then defend with reasoning that a dismissal of all EVs as "milk floats" does not display quite a staggering lack of knowledge.
We're selling our RR Spectre EV. We now need a 5 seater.
Going cheap at £500,000.
We now have a dog that thinks it's human.
I think it's Kool, but I'm not sure if it's pc. ;)

Damn thing keeps barking though. And in an EV, that's no joke!!!!!

A 5% drop in the price of gold yesterday suggests people are nervous the bubble has peaked.
