I now have a clamp meter to test earth leakage as advised but have since discovered there is a better but of course more expensive meter available to tes true earth leakage...Megger DCM 300E

I now have one with a 40A 400A and 1000A range with a minimum resolution of .01A

What is now the best way to test earth leakage, i guess it's reading across earth for each circuit??????

Or should i test current between phase and neutral of each circuit to see if the incoming-outgoing is not even???

Cheers

Alex
