Texecom system was set up by installer, with a Connect account.
It notifies me promptly by email when the alarm is set and unset. All very good.

This morning, the alarm was accidently set off. I cancelled it from the keypad after about 20 seconds.

The Connect did not notify me that the alarm was activated. It just sent the usual notification that it had been unset. This seems strange, the alarm having been activated is surely the most import use of the Connect function. Is there a setting I can change to implement it?

It was, yes,
But I do get the Connect message every time when setting/unsetting part arm

Do you have access to the cloud account the panel is on?

There are only a handful of places where these things can be changed.

I would first check the event log to see what the panel thinks happened.

This may give an insight into which settting needs to be changed.

I used to have the engineer's code, but when the friendly installers were taken over by the grasping new firm they changed it.
I do have a separate phone app, I'm not sure what that shows. will check that later.
Thanks for your help!

You can use the master user code to check the event log.

To change things you will need the engineers code.

I would …. Part set then activate a guard zone and see what happens as it may be the case of a pre alarm and it was turned off before a full activation ?
Did you have to reset the alarm ?

I've checked the log on the Android app. It shows nothing between when I part set last night and unset this morning. That was exactly the time I unset it when someone triggered a PIR in an active room.
I can't check the code directly on the panel until next week.
I'm assuming it was a full alarm, it was certainly very loud indoors. I just entered the usual code once to cancel it.

Is there a delay if it's on part alarm?
If someone had broken into that room while we were asleep I'd want it to full alarm right away.

It’s not just a yes or no ….as not knowing what program options have been set there could be multiple reasons as to what you have described ….there are probably hundreds of variables on the Texecom depending of programming options

OK. I'll have to wait until the next service visit and ask the guy to explain and set it how I want it.

Thanks very much for your help, it's much appreciated.
