Texecom Elite Keypad with External Sounder

I've got a DBD-0171 which I plan to use for the garage, where I was going to use a remote zone expander, but I wanted to know whether I can just connect the PIRs, door sensors and external sounder all to the DBD-0171 and save needing the expander?

No to a full blown sounder.

There are two zones on the keypad you can wire sensors to.

there maybe a speaker terminal on some keypads but that’s for a 16 ohm speaker and a keypad output.

You may need a powered expander if you want to fire an external sounder.

A sounder needs a bell and strobe trigger and somewhere to wire the tamper in, power varies but you need to look at power whilst system is in alarm.

Thanks for your swift response. I have an expander but was hoping I might get away without it.
