Texecom Grade 3 sounder wired as Grade 2?

Hi, need a bit of help please. After a bit of pondering having my ear bent by the wife I'm now changing my old sounder for one of the illuminated Odyssey X-B sounders.

I am choosing the grade 3 sounder as it has the twin piezo's but I only have 6 cores from panel to sounder. Can I just wire up the standard 5 connections and ignore the fault and tamper relays in the sounder? Thanks.

Yes but it wont be grade 3 wired, but it will still work.
