Hi, I have a Veritas R8 alarm panel and am trying to get a Texecom impaq s vibration detector to work, I have fitted a Texecom vibration detector to the shed door about 4 years ago with no problem (Different model to this one) power light is showing but i'm just getting a open circuit, looks like I might have to alter the dip switches but not sure where the tamper and alarm dips should be put, any help would be much appreciated.

Post photo of shock sensor wiring and dil switches may help us .
4k7 alarm, 2k2 tamper and program wiring type as double pole eol on a Texecom Premier/Premier Elite panel.
The shock sensor is only compatible with control panels that use EOL Wiring configuration.

Thanks, that explains why I can't get it to work then, looks like I need the Impaq E like the one on the shed door.
The newer R8+ can do these resistor values from memory think it was version 3.22 or something like that.
You probably need the Veritas Impaq E or the older Premier Impaq range which has been discontinued.
