Had a break-in recently and our old (over 10 years) Response alarm helped to minimize the loses. I replaced the alarm system with a newer version (SL6) straight away and put wireless movement sensors in every room. I'd like to add some vibration sensors on windows - this is how they got in. Response don't make a vibration sensor for the SL6 range.

The SL6 has 3 wired zones which are normally closed. I was hoping to use a few Texecom Impaq vibration sensors wired in series with a few on each zone.

In fact I'm thinking it might be good to use the Impaq plus which would latch the alarm.

SL6 Manual (see page 25 for connections)

I realize that I'm going to need some extra juice to power them (because I'm going to be running a dialer off the panel) which I am taking care of but I'm not sure how to wire the tamper connections or the latching.

Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks.
