Texecom Premier Elite 24 Unable to Add OH-W Wireless Smoke Detectors

Hi

I have a Premier Elite 24 (V6.06.03 LS1) and a 8XP-W wireless Expander.(3.1.10)

when I installed the system I added 4 wireless shocks to the 8xp-W and its worked a treat for 12 months.

I am now trying to add 4 of the OH-W smoke detectors and they just wont pair.

I have tried putting the option 2 switch on the extender to yes but it just comes up as 'all wireless devices added' even though it hasnt! so i put option 2 back to off (as are all the option dip swiches)

I put the batteries in the smoke detector, wait for it to beep then go into the engineer mode - learn ricochet, it counts down from 20 then just asks me if i want to add a wireless device to the same zone (Z13 in this case)

I have tried adding to different zones
New Batteries in detector
Holding in the tamper switch on the expander.
Pressing reset twice when on the zone

ands every time i still get the same result - no pairing.

Has anyone got any ideas of what else i could try please????

Not sure what your trying to do as it didn’t make much sense to me.

1. Enter engineering
2. Enter zone setup
3. Go to first free zone
4.press reset learning countdown starts
5.put the three batteries in the correct orientation

What happens?
