Texecom Premier elite 48 Help?

I'm wanting to add a texecom smoke detector (exodus 4 WIRE) to my elite 48, can I do this via an expander box to the panel? if yes, could you explain how please?

Second question:

When testing my system using "Wintex" Diagnostics tool, I am getting a result of 5 PIR zones on the same expander been FAULTY!!

This cant be correct? I've done a "walk test" and the all worked fine.

Any advice would be appreciated Thanks

Wire as you would any other zone , program as fire, don't believe what wintex says ....it depends on wintex version and panel software version
