I have a Texecom GEW-0001 64-W Wireless control panel, with a Premier Elite Odyssey 3-W GBR-0001 Wireless Bellbox. The sounder was complaining of a low battery, so I replaced them with the Energiser Lithium batteries reccommended. I have 14v on the terminals. The sounder would not re-connect to the Riccochet network. In debugging it, I accidentally deleted all the devices. I have since added them all back, but the sounder still won't re-connect. Even after unmounting it, and performing the re-connect from next to the alarm box, I just get the fast flashing left light.

I followed the documented procedure, by moving the jumper to off for a period, and back to on, both just before, and just after telling the alarm to listen for new connections. All other devices re-connected fine, why is my sounder not? What else can I do to debug it?

Did you add the sounder ?

Just your saying it wouldn’t reconnect but you deleted all the devices off and then relearned back on.

So are you saying you relearned the devices back on and they all work but tge sounder won’t trigger and is in hold off mode?

I can't add the sounder back in. it never re-joins when I put the panel in learn mode. It just flashes the green light, in the same searching pattern. As I said, I have tried telling the pannel to listen for a new connection but it still does not join.

I also tried joining it to a different Zone number.

what can you see in ricochet monitor?

What zone was it on originally?
When you try to rejoin does the timer run out or does it beep before it runs out?

I have not looked into the ricochet monitor. Is that something you use the laptop connected to the main box, or do i need additional hardware?

When I try to join, the timer runs out. The device or box do not react in any way. The sounder just has the fast flashing green light

The difference is a beep before the timer runs out, means the device is already learned on to the system.

Wireless bells, you putting the batteries in and that puts the bell in learn mode, or once in placing battery jumper to on position.

In zone setup start the learn process, turn on wireless bells, probably easier to move the jumper across.

Do this as close as possible to wireless expander to make it easier.
