Hi. Ive got a message saying battery fault on Texecom Ricochet Micro Door Contact (GHA-0001. I replaced the battery and the blue light is stuck on the contact with the panel saying tamper fault Any ideas what I need to do?
Make sure the battery compartment cover is fully clipped in to start.
Does the keypad show 'system alerts'?.
Enter your code, or present your fob, and press reset immediately, you may need to do this twice, see if the fault has cleared.
To get rid of the alert I switched the zone off. I’ve now switched it back onto guard access and it’s no longer picking it up. Ive reset it in the ricochet settings and pushed the button within the 20 seconds however it’s not finding it now. The light on the sensor is solid blue.
You got a battery fault for a device
You replaced the battery, did you put this into engineering first or master user battery swap mode?
Did you swap it straight away, or removed the battery press the learn button on the front several times before putting the new battery in?
You switched the zone off ? deleted or not used?
Then back to Guard access?
in zone setup for this contact, whats the programming, ie does it show that a contact is learned on to the zone still?
In ricochet diagnostics, what does it say for the zone?
Do you have access to Wintex and ricochet diagnostics?
