Hi. Ive got a message saying battery fault on Texecom Ricochet Micro Door Contact (GHA-0001. I replaced the battery and the blue light is stuck on the contact with the panel saying tamper fault Any ideas what I need to do?

Make sure the battery compartment cover is fully clipped in to start.
Does the keypad show 'system alerts'?.
Enter your code, or present your fob, and press reset immediately, you may need to do this twice, see if the fault has cleared.

Hi yes it shows system alerts. Engineer required. When I clip it in there is a solid blue light.

To get rid of the alert I switched the zone off. I’ve now switched it back onto guard access and it’s no longer picking it up. Ive reset it in the ricochet settings and pushed the button within the 20 seconds however it’s not finding it now. The light on the sensor is solid blue.
