Dear Texperts

Does anyone know if it's possible to show the alarm status on the panel display?

This would be really helpful for me as when i come downstairs in the morning i would know if the panel was set, so as not to forget to unset it. I would like to wire a red LED to an output and have it illuminate when the alarm is set too if that's possible?

Thanks

Yes but you shouldn't have the armed status visible.
When you come down stairs then the alarm should start entry tone, hence you know it's set.

Yes it's possible to wire LED's to show status via outputs. Yes you can make it show on the keypad also.

If I come downstairs and forget to unset I will probably set it of when I walk past the PIRs (set to "guard") .
If they were set to start an entry tone would that be counterproductive?

Thanks

guard access would be the correct zone type not e/e for a walk through zone.

when full set triggers alarm immediately unless e/e zone started
in part set starts e/e when activated
