Textured Paint Advice

Hi,

Has anyone used texured paint? I was looking at Dulux Sandswept on their website http://www.dulux.com.au/html/textureint/ but its difficult to see the effect and wondered if anyone has used this or similar paint, and what is the outcome like?

Gary..its the same as using sandtex...(and cheaper) you may like the effect..but beware...your walls will always have a rough feel to them.

Personally, i wouldnt.

Thanks zampa. I did wonder about the 'long term consequences' this paint might have and thought that probably in a year I would get fed up and want to change, so it is a good point you made about the walls 'always have a rough feel'.

I'll probably just for a bog-standard emulsion - can't go wrong with that
