That's true. Thinking about it, the speed switch on my TGA has three positions, one does nothing.
That will be the 16mph/26kph, where allowed in the EU. It probably just needs enabling. I have to use mine, on a narrow, quite busy stretch of single-track, 20mph, with no footpath - it would be dangerous, to risk holding the traffic up at 8mph, I would find them trying to squeeze past, and so I switch to 16mph, and drive in the middle, to prevent them trying.

Well, it's a long story, and it's not tomorrow, but I checked the voltages.
22.something. So I arranged for TGA to service the thing and check that there were no other issues with the system that could be causing battery failure.
Everything was good, so I ordered 2 Leoch AGM batts, again from Tayna, this time 85Ah. They were £242.90 Inc delivery, but what struck me during the ordering process was that when I made the payment online, it came up as Ferraris Piston Service Limited.
But on my statement, it says Parts In Motion, Exeter. Then on the invoice it says Automotion Factors t/a Tayna.
Company with an ID crisis?
The batteries arrived and I fitted them this morning.
So I took the scooter down the road to my local Sainsbury's.
Instead of connecting bits of wire to the battery terminals like last time, the TGA service guy told me how to attach my multimeter to the charging port to read the voltage while I'm riding along.
The voltage with new batteries is 25.5V with the scooter at a standstill.
Moving, the voltage drops to a minimum of 24.7V up a fair gradient at 8 mph.

Thank you kindly, Harry, but I wouldn't know where to begin with doing that!
A quick read suggests you need equipment; a programmer or software and an interface cable. I'm genuinely out of my depth here!
