I have just had my fireplace knocked out so that it will accomodate a nice stove. There is a big slab of sandstone on the bottom and the builder has clad the interior with plaster board and on the top a sheet of that cement fibre stuff. I was wanting to clad it with them thin brick thingies so it looks nice, does anyone have any advice on this? Do you stick them on with regular mortar? How expensive are they? Are there any stockists in West Yorks? Might it be cheaper and better just to use normal bricks?
