So they are stuck in a hole... and they are trying evey which way to get out of it, but it has to be together.. each holds the other hostage.

He won’t sack her unless or until it’s in his political interests to do so. No one is unsackable if they are guilty of misconduct even though the charges might trumped up(literally).

Because Bidden was an inherently decent person (as presidents go) who did not want to interfere with the work of independent law officers for political gain. That, and because he believed there was nothing of substance to the conspiracy theories. Which is why Trumpf attacking the Dems won’t help him a jot when the real threat to him is from his own supporters. It’s how dictators are often brought down

Pretty simple it was a court case...Ghilsane maxwell, that took 3 years of Bidens presidency, remember her running off and hiding and they believed in the law, as Biden put it, from a review of the evidence there is no realistic prospect of convicting other persons unless we receive complaints, as epstien was dead who are you going to prosecute and with no victims coming forward the end.

Trump was trying to distract from the Epstein story today with an ambush on the Fed Chair, Jerome Powell. But it blew up in his face.

The only thing I can imagine is that he is going to try to get the DOJ to bring prosecutions against some of the people that the base really hate, such as Bill Clinton, using Maxwell as a star witness. It doesn't really matter if they ever go ahead. Just announcing it will buy him time. Simliar to his calls to prosecute Obama for treason.
