Yet your people continue to pipe sewage into the sea and rivers.
Bad for people and wildlife immediately but little or no long-term threat. It's pretty much bio-degradable, other than the odd bit of contaminant product.
Absolutely nothing like deliberately throwing your entire household waste off a bridge into a river, knowing that it will be taken out to sea. In a country that doesn't bother with bin lorries, where there isn't actually a practical alternative. But they have a space programme.
It's not just India, many other countries have a similarly bad attitude. There's absolutely no point in us having our virtue-signalling drink bottles where the lid stays attached and rinsing out our milk bottles before recycling if others are doing this sort of thing.
We should be organising world summits and sanctions, not banning drinking straws and takeaway boxes.
Any fool can say that.
And many of them do.
You want to pretend that your country has clean hands and everything is the fault of pesky foreigners.
Throwing waste into a river is exactly like throwing waste into a river.

At the recent summit ( in Qatar) talking about energy, there was even some sort of wild haired nutter who stood up and said it was naughty, or something, to use so much oil.

No - you're going to have to try a lot harder. Conflation of dumping rubbish and emitting greenhouse gases just isn't going to cut it.
The Leftists feel very scammed but they're too embarrassed and cowardly to admit it.

So what is/are the tax(es) which you say we're being asked to pay, which you think are a "scam" because of rubbish dumping in other countries?
You may struggle to remember what you've posted in the past, but not everybody has that problem, and when you bang on about "feel scammed yet?" (which is a bit of a leitmotif with you), it's always about Net Zero or other climate-change amelioration initiatives.
