Depends where you want it moved to.
In this instance an electrician and decorator would be the trades you need.
Or a decent handyman with a multi skilled repertoire.

hi it would just be lower down on the adjacent wall, so it would be an electrician I needed... oh yes thanks for that :)

haha no il be doing the decorating ...thanks for the info(y)

he only thought it was because i said it was my mistake
...is that all it is then .. so it can be moved all the same or done away with for a newer one

thanks for the info hopefully its a straight forward job(y)

I paid more attention to your request about moving it, rather than what it was and then saw the bit of fun in raising the “spelling” to Dan... which I think he missed :D

It’s a simple job... heating engineer or electrician rather than just a “plumber” and you could upgrade it for a modern digital one - if you do actually have a roomstat, you could replace that with a programmable roomstat that does both tasks in one unit. Depending on location of each it might be better to do that and could possibly mean no re-routing of wiring - just removing the timer, making wires safe and patching over the wall where it was/is. thanks had a guy look at it today he reckons go with the modern digital one ...leaving it where it is
