Hi everyone,

I'm dealing with a leaky shower mixer and could use some expert advice. The leak is coming from the left-hand knob, which controls the on/off function of the shower. I'm hoping to find a straightforward fix that doesn't involve replacing the entire unit.

I've attached some pictures of the shower mixer with the left-hand knob removed.

Could this be an issue with a worn-out washer or seal? If so, what steps should I take to replace it?
Any advice on troubleshooting or fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your time and help!

You have a bar shower mixer. For some reason they are not as reliable or durable as round mixers.

However, yours is surface mounted and the connections are easily accessible.

A new replacement would be easy to fit and not expensive.
