Is it worth paying more for a thermostatic electric shower? I think I remember reading that the Mira one will keep the temp to around 2 degrees where it's set at whereas the normal one will just keep it to within 6 degrees. I've used a 9kW Mira non-thermo which if the toilet was flushed would make the water too hot...

That effect would depend on the pumbing and the water pressure. I'd pay a bit extra, but not much!
