thermostatic mixer just a trickle??

I have installed a thermostatic mixer shower and the water is only coming out at a trickle.Gravity fed on cold and hot,think I may have pipework wrong way round (cold left hot right) would this effect the flow rate or is this due to lack of pressure on the system??

Should be hot left cold right, you are corect its wrong change them around and see what happens.

even if you have cold/hot round the wrong way it shouldn't affect the flow.

So it looks like I will need to fit a pump then?
