Thermostatic shower valve cartridge replacement advice

Hello, I need to remove one of these from my shower valve:

Could you please advise how to take it off. I've removed the RHS chrome cover and the screw under the cover. There is also a circlip which has been removed.

Don't know from here how to take the cartridge out. Does it pull out or is it screwed in? There is no nut that can be opened via spanner, so please advise.

Exploded view shows a thread so should unscrew. Is there anywhere you can get a pair of grips onto?

Thanks for your reply. I took the valve off and found there was an allen key underneath which once unscrewed , brought the cartridge out.

Funny it does not show anywhere on the pics, but maybe it will serve as a pointer to others who try to do this.
