I just installed a new thermostatic valve and it is not working. I checked all directions and found no problems. The water either gets too hot or too cold.

Great!!! Latoscana model Ducha. All my plumbing lines are correct, pressure and size wise.

one of the most common installation faults is hot and cold the wrong way round, is the hot on the left and cold on the right (as you look from the front)

Will try and flush the value out. It is the right way up. I had the same thought. Thanks!!!! Here goes..........

No luck with flushing the value. When turning the knob I only get hot on one side. Then when you turn to the lower temp it is to cold. No midge rang.

What the pressure difference between the hot and cold.

Contact the manufacturer. We had this with a Crosswater valve and they told us how to recalibrate it, which involves turning it beyond where you think it can go until it clicks loudly several times.
