Can anyone tell me the reason why thermostatic valves should not be put on Bathroom rads, I believe my Bathroom rad is first on the line.

Also how much Fernox is recommended for a system containing 9 rads.

sometimes used like a by-pass.

One bottle should surfice, though you wont overdose with two.

Some systems need at least one radiator without a TRV, so that there is always some flow.

Can you describe your system? Do you have a room thermostat anywhere and if so is it in a room with a radiator without a TRV?

Edit: TRV= thermostatic radiator valve

Edit: Edit: I Wish I'd looked at the OP's other posts before I replied.
