Religion can be taken out of the argument...
There is no proof and never has been proof of an imaginary friend...

Liverpool pathway was mismanagement and in some cases neglect. The pressure to speed up dying happens now.
Have a look at the Liverpool pathway
So it’s not an argument against the bill
Well if the imaginary friend(s) cares to reveal him/her/their self/selves then there could be a debate to be had...Not by people who have a religious belief. It's no good citing your atheism on the proposed legislation as it should be designed to take in to account both sides of the argument on the existence of God.
not necessarily with the outcome you have decided will happenIt's self evident that if something is legalised, or there is a change in enforcement policy, public attitudes will evolve.
Would you argue against the change in attitudes as regards the smoking legislation has had over recent years? It's self evident that if something is legalised, or there is a change in enforcement policy, public attitudes will evolve.
it was shocking what happened, I can see why you are questioning the ability of the NHS to implement the assisted dying bill correctlyLiverpool pathway was mismanagement and in some cases neglect.

Real people are dying in pain and despair, and fairy tales won't change that...
And the LCP was discontinued in favour of a 'personalised end of life plan'...it was shocking what happened, I can see why you are questioning the ability of the NHS to implement the assisted dying bill correctly
A word of advice...You work in a care home, i hear
As I said before, life is a terminal illness...Wait til you're faced with a terminal illness: perhaps then, you'll see the light...
The debate is surely about how far the state/government interferes on matters of personal choiceWould you argue against the change in attitudes as regards the smoking legislation has had over recent years?
For better or worse would you say?
You I fear have a disregard for the ability of people when fully informed to make a rational choice for whatever is best for them...
I believe otherwise!
We will see butnot necessarily with the outcome you have decided will happen
Public health messages on smoking were successful (at least until Camoron cut funding). Health and safety legislation is another example.please provide supporting evidence for your assertion
The point is this bill is allowing people to make that personal choice...The debate is surely about how far the state/government interferes on matters of personal choice
