They Shoot Horses, don't they?

Keir Starmer voted in favour.

Not sure how the Tory Labour numbers were split though

Pleasantly surprised at the vote...

Of course it's just the first stage and it could get bogged down in endless debate...

But for the first time an affirmative result on this issue which is a good thing...

Ironic that a major campaigner who has brought this to the fore is Esther Rantzen...

That's Life!

When abortion was legalised it was supposed to be strictly controlled.
Nowadays it's just another form of birth control.
This bloke is 100% correct.

Another nail in the coffin of Britain (no pun intended).
A long way to go yet

But some people will be able to choose their coffins and make their plans before they are in too much pain to be able to do anything.

It's a choice, it's not compulsory.

Last time a bill came forward on this subject it passed the first vote

BUT

when it came back to the hoc it was voted out

Actually birth control is defined as preventing a pregnancy...

Abortion is defined as stopping an existing pregnancy from continuing for whatever reason...

Only a crazy 'pro lifer' who would refuse to allow the right of a woman to control her own body could confuse the two because of their ideology!

Whatever language you use the killing of born and unborn is now legal. The argument is essentially that the state shouldn’t interfere with the exercise of personal morality, so it can only be a matter of time before the law extends to children and the mentally incapacitated
