I'll stick my neck out and say that my observations are that the plumbers and sparks on here are the most argumentative, obtuse and most unresponsive to another point of view except their own
Whether its a trade thing I don't know. But the ones I deal with in the daytime just do what I say

Wholeheartedly agree. Even the national press are getting in on the offended bit.
Today the DM carried an article about the outrage, the X Factor did on Saturday night. Showing so much flesh etc before the nine o'clock watershed.
"We make no apologies for printing these outrageous photo's. " It claimed.
Yeah right. Nowt wrong with the pictures of nubile young women, I thought as I gazed at them. I've seen more flesh on show in the Sun and Daily Star.....
Not a mention of these from the DM.
TBQH , I only buy it to do the crossword (honestly I do) and if I'm truthful, some photo's they show are probably far more outrageous than anything the X Factor has to show.
Perhaps the DM should only be sold after the watershed too??

Sounds like a classic case of bad blood, certain members set up a new site, to slag off existing members, but then get rejected. So come back.
If you post waste, you get banned, simples. Go off to your new forum, if you get banned from there, don't come crying back, or post nice. If not, get banned again!
If a post on here gets responses within 5 minutes, it was usually bad blood, slagging people off, rather than answering the OP question. So I guess you learnt a lesson? Answer sensibly, or be banned, if you join a rival club, be slagged off, then creep and crawl into the origional forum?

Where have I mentioned anything about a new site, let alone one set up by ex members of this one?
Have I mentioned anything about me being banned from another site and/or crawling back?
So are you saying that to get a response on this board quickly you have to post a provoking thread? I was under the illusion it was a 'General Discussion' board with the emphasis being on 'Discussion', which to my mind means people voicing opinions, often, but not always, differing opinions.
What has your statement about you being Admin got to do with this thread? Would you like to be Admin/Mod? If so then PM the relevant people with a request to be so.
I fail to see how you regard this post as 'bad blood'. It is merely a thread stating my observations/opinions about this board not being as active as it used to be, possibly due to some members being allowed to get away with 'cyber bullying' whilst others are barred because of their 'portrayed' personalities.
I have used BAS as an example because of the stick he gets for trying to point people in the right direction but his views are often disregarded because he has not declared what his professional status is so others assume, rightly or wrongly, that he is not an electrician.

That Joe-90 character gets away with murder. He gets banned regularly but sure as eggs is eggs - someone somewhere comes along and unbans him.
