I guess you would prefer the standard-issue pre-Trump politicians who have brought the west to its knees rather than somebody who wants to make a change? Politicians that run the economy on debt and have allowed the likes of China to become dominant.

Not really, I agree that the generic type politicians, of any stripe, have been pretty crap for some time, and getting worse, in many respects trump has been a breath of fresh air, but I just don't like him, he is far from highly intelligent, he is a salesman, an amazing salesman, his ability to get people to follow him is astonishing.
But the main reason I do not like him is, he is for the USA (as he should be) and he is no good for us here n Europe - I will never be better off because of Trump - if trump was british and for the UK, I may think differently. but he is playing for the other side.

But getting back on topic - I do not want to be mislead by the media, even if it is reinforcing my beliefs, I need the truth, and on that score, the BBC is a let down.
