thorn house warmer

can anybody help me-got housewarmer mark2
I have tried to drain the system as normal from the last rad,but it won't drain.I have cut pipe under floorboard as advised and tried to drain that way,but the header tank still remains full.I have drained the header tank manually and then poured sludge remover in whilst it was filling up again,but nothing has happened.
please advise

You have a blocked cold feed . follow pipe from header tank to where it tees in it will be blocked around there

Thanks for the reply.I have followed the pipe and it comes down the wall of the house intothe boiler.Is this what you mean.

we have also just discovered that the rads have no water in them
which i didnt realise

Very unusual if cold feed goes all the way back to a back boiler .

thats why you have no water in rads it cannot get there because of blockage in cold feed
