Does anyone have any information about how readily available spares are for this heating unit? I am in the process of buying a house where this is present and want to make sure that it is reparable if something goes wrong. Thanks.

This heater was dated when god was still young; you will need to replace it completely before long; consider it as not having heating/hot water currently.

depends what model of housewarmer

most parts for the boiler will still be available, the fire perhaps not

1st thing would be to get it serviced tho

i wouldnt bank on getting a great deal of parts for those things. if you do buy it treat the boiler as number one on the renovation list.

get it serviced when you move in too, no matter what the previous owner says get someone round immediately and make sure they check the ventilation. get a CO alarm too.

like mentioned, depends on which model, and the engineer on the day when it breaks down.

Thanks everybody. I will start saving for a new system then!

until then get it serviced and get the ventilation checked (should be done as part of service

cost you about £85
