But is that the Brexit you want? Still in the customs union and single market as Hammond said a few hours ago.
They are still too far gone, hypnotised by the euphoria of gaining the leave result to realise that everything will be the same as before except worse.
A lot worse. Dumb Quitters.

The dumb remoaners are happy to see a country like the UK

Founder member of Nato , permanent member of the UN security council, probably the only continous democracy in Europe

go cap in hand to the EU over a tampon tax

Jeez us wept . typical remoaners no pride , or self respect , just a bend over & lube up mentality

:)

Remainers are doing the EU's work for it.
If you read through the comments section on the Graun, for example, Remainers are positively hoping that the UK gets shafted by the EU.
IMO Treeza is not a good negotiator - she concedes far too much - but when half the country is wishing her to fail, her job is made far more difficult.

But England, and subsequently the UK, has been far more significant in the history of Europe - and the world - than Iceland.

The statement was about long running democracies not about the impact.

continous democracy

Remind me, when did all adults (over 21) in the UK (including Northern Ireland) get equal voting rights?

Even if they were poor, didn't own property, weren't churchgoers, didn't have a university degree, and weren't necessarily men?

Do you think that the men who marched off to lay down their lives for the Empire in WW1 had been allowed to vote?

When did the whole of the UK get one person, one vote, for national and local elections?

Was it 1215, when Magna Carta was signed? Or was it 1968?

Is 49 years of continuous democracy something to brag about?
