Thoughts on ceiling bowed

So I gave it a go with a car trolley jack and a length of 2x4, with a oak plank at the top approx 4ft long and 1" thick to spread the load. Jacked it up and left it for 3 days. Today I screwed it into the joists above held my breath and removed the jack. It's still flat as of 2hrs.. wonder if it'll hold!

Ceiling is being papered and painted in two weeks time. If it hasn't popped by then I reckon I've got away with it..

Cheers
