I bought a new tap for the kitchen but the threaded brass tube that came with it is too short for my sink. The provided tube measures exactly 32mm in diameter so I sourced this product from Amazon:

www.amazon.co.uk/Kitchen-Fitting-Threaded-Install-M32X100/dp/B085J33DKQ/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=M32+brass+tubing&qid=1633541896&sr=8-1

It is described as M32 threaded brass tube and is intended to be used with kitchen taps. However, it actually measures only 30mm in diameter and doesn't fit my tap.

Can anybody explain what's going on here?
