Wouldn't a 3-way breaker only have terminals for L1, L2 & L3, and a TP&N breaker take 4 ways?FWL_Engineer said:For 3 Phase breakers I always put the Neutral and CPC in the middle terminal of the three ways that the breaker occupies.
Shouldn't really give plug a hard time - it wasn't his board - he just linked to a Wikipedia article...Do I have a picture of a correctly terminated board? Nope, I do not photgraphs things without good reason, and this is usually for reports when things are not right...However I may have a hunt through file pictures to see if I have any..
Now I see. Thanks for that, and sorry about the smell...pdcelec said:What FWL meant was

1: connect up the three phase conductors to the three terminals in the three pole mcb in the correct phase order eg terminals 13,14,15
2: connect the neutral conductor to the associated terminal in the neutral rail and connect to the central one i.e 14 in this example
3: connect the cpc to the associated terminal in the earth rail and connect to the central one i.e 14 in this example
