What is the wall made from. Is it hollow? (i.e a stud wall or is it solid masonry?)

Do your electrics run from above or below, mine run through the loft so I have run all wires and added an extra socket above the tele
Run a extension 4 or 6 gang socket up under shelf then you have less wires on show.
I think this would be your best option, add more sockets when it comes to redecorating.
