Tidying up around radiator pipes

Hi - as you can see from the pic, my rad pipes disappear into my skirting. Any ideas on how to finish off the pipes, so hide the hole. I've tried pipe collars but hey are too large.

I could use silicone sealant but it may be tricky

Decorators Caulk. This sort of thing. http://www.wilko.com/fillers+sealants/wilko-decorators-caulk/invt/0245441 (other brands are available) Push plenty into the gap with a spatula / knife, and smooth it with your finger. It can be painted over and is flexible enough to allow for the expansion and contraction of the pipe as it heats and cools.
