Hi everyone, hope you are all safe and well.
I will soon be fixing "Tier" contemporary stone panels to all the corners and either side of the front door to a new build bungalow. I am thinking that the panels would look a hell of a lot better if fixed down to the driveway and paths but obviously not sat on them but I am concerned that by doing this I would effectively be spanning the DPC which is higher off the finished grade than the normal 2 brick courses.
The panels will be fixed using the appropriate exterior adhesive using a notched trowel and back buttered. Can anyone see an issue with this?
Would appreciate any feedback please.
I have attached a pic as an example of the finish. In this picture it does look as if they have finished the stone corner at the DPC height??
Thanks for any help with this
