Render, cladding or stone effect panels?

Hi guys!

I am trying to decide what to do with my gable end on my self build.

I’m trying to do the whole project myself, but I’m scared about rendering as I might muck it up.

I was wondering what people’s thoughts are on either cladding or stone effect panels/tiles?

I have attached an image of my build. It is about 6.5 metres wide.

Has anyone done this before?

does it work?

would it be more sensible to do this on the corners to create a pillar effect , then fill it in between with upvc cladding?

has anyone got any images of their own similar projects?
