hi everyone

just needed a litle bit of help before i get going with my next DIY disaster!!

i would like to put a tiled border in my bathroom, its the "dry" wall, no where near the water - obviously steam is different matter! the wall in question is lightly bowed in the centre - old house!

The tiles are about 30cm long each - i know there is no flexibility so will have to make do as long as the job is done the best i can, i got spirit level to hand!

I am just not sure where to start - is it at the centre of the wall and work outwards, or should i start from the corner?

Also, when using this type of border, is it usual to use spacers as well? i think i should but then my friend just saidthat was wrong!!

hopefully someone can help

thanks so much!!

Eve

centre your wall and "walk" the tile into the corners and see what size of cut it will be,if its small cuts then mark centre of tile and then using the centre mark on the wall start from here and again walk the tile into corner and see how the cuts are then.

i would use spacers.
