I'm in two minds about tiling the splashback area around a bathroom basin. Most of the walls are going to be painted with bathroom paint but I have concerns about the basin splashback area. Would bathroom paint be okay or do I really need this area tiled? Ideally I would just like it painted but I don't know whether it would stay clean or not.
