Hi All.

I am about to fit a breathable membrane to the new roof of an extension. I was going to use the plastic deflector edging under the lower run of tiles and then membrane and batten. should the membrane be pulled tight and fixed or sagged a little,i was going to do 150mm overlaps. do i cover complete roof or should i leave gap at ridge rafter.

Many Thanks

There is no need to leave a gap at the ridge with breathable membranes, 150 mm horizontal laps fine.
