My bathroom tiles are starting to bulge in one place. It seems to be in one place only. You can see it the whole way down from the ceiling, almost like a line where the tiles on either side of the grout are being forced outwards by something behind. The tiles do not feel loose when you touch them. This seems to have appeared recently. We had a new radiator fitted recently just in this area so wondered if this was the reason? Any ideas what's causing this and will how it can be rectified? It's on an outside wall.

For whatever reason, your tiles are coming away from the wall. Although, you said they don't feel loose, they are. It might be to do with the heat from the new radiator, and the tiles have expanded. Before you remove the blown tiles, put some tape across each row to hold them in place. Remove the grout down the middle of the tiles, and starting from the top, carefully remove them one at a time.

Roughcaster.

What's the wall made of; plaster onto block work or has someone dot & dabbed plasterboard on there & tiled over that? Is the wall subject to continual wetting? Is it problem directly above the radiator or just on the same wall? Are there any pipes in the wall? What's in the loft space above the wall?

A Photo might help.
